d2Yc ..............sweet memories

its been a really busy week.... was occupied with a 6 days long camp... i was really reluctant to go at first... cuz thought it would be really boring and thought i knew too much about dhamma to go for other organizations camp... but i guess i was wrong... even how much i knew about dhamma , it was all useless as i didn't practice it.. i was really ego on having thoughts like that... but i guess some way or another this camp made me really practice much of those i had neglected all this while... Practicing the 5 precepts , 8 noble path and so on...

on the first day of the camp, i was really disappointed and actually regretted on coming to the d2yc camp... but some how this mind set of mine changed on the 2nd day of this camp... they really impressed me with those activities they held ... they had this workshop on the buddhist attitude towards other religion and guess who was the speaker? DR. Amir.... never expect it didn't u? thought this type of camp should be some one among the buddhist community? haha.. i was also shock when got to know....then came 3rd day, there were 2 dhamma talk . 1 was in the morning and the 2nd one was in at night.... the dhamma talk held at night was really inspiring... the topic was solving problems in buddhist way by bro wong tin song... he is really a joker...and it ended a day .

the 4th day were fill with work shop treasure hunt and talent night... the 4th day started off with the work shop about law of karma and was followed up with a dana... i was really suprise to c a friend there too doing dana... ind of met him in my ex b.m tuition... didn't know his also a buddhist... but too bad... i didn't get to talk or say hi to him... cuz as u know i was in camp and we were asked to observe silence all time... hem.. shall apologies to him some day... then we had treasure hunt... em even thought it wasn't as good as those i used to organize, but i would really want to say sadhu to them for taking out time to do so... but still i'm not saying its perfect.. there r still spaces they can really improve in...the last activities for the day was talent night... they really impressed me with the settings they did to the auditorium room... we had never decorate it as much as they did before... they really made the talent night a success by personally called our parents to come for the event... most parents turn out and they were entertain by the senior d2y choir.. they were really good.. never thought they would be that good... but never the less at least now i know...

then came the second last day... was started with Q&A about buddhist symbol then followed up with dharma quiz... telematch were next after the dharma quiz.... it was ok.. but games that they came out with were quite dangerous... there were ppl injured while playing for telematch.. but never the less we all enjoyed the water balloon session will only a balloon each... haha.. a bit pathetic i know.... but the best part of the day was that we had "STREET PARTY ALL NIGHT LONG" and free flow of drinks were given out... and ofcuz u do not expect them to give us alcohol as this is a buddhist camp and we must observe the 5 precept... we were really wild .. its as thought we were really in a club.... settings were also excellent..... the party were continued with an activities where all of us were asked to choose what we want to do towards each other... there were 4 choice.. its either stare/look, smile, shake hand or hug.... and guess wat me and my buddies said??? we were like saying that4 is 4 cuties, 3 is for ok looking ,2 is 4 ugly and 1 is 4 turn off... haha.... but for the event i didn't really used the 1 and 2... it was like all the way 444444 and 3 and 444 ... haha.... we all took the opportunities to hug those cute guys... hehe....

then came the last day... nothing much were done as time were limited... we only manage to get contact num and took pictures for the lasttime.... we were given certs and a cd of photos... there were ppl crying and all ....

i thought i would not cry as i'm used to go and leave for camp.. but i still did cry... kind of find that we really found true friend for the short 6 days...

i would like to thank the following ppl who made this camp meaningful for me....
